Wholesale Bespoke Scarves is a part of York Scarves that works directly with a large, fair trade weaving enterprise in NE India and specialises in creating custom made scarves. We work with a wide variety of fabrics and yarn combinations and offer very reasonable minimum order quantities, typically 100 – 200 pieces per colour. We can also supply orders of 10,000+ pieces and organize labels, tags, hangers, packaging and any other branding needs at source. In addition to scarves we can also make bespoke fabrics on the roll and sarongs and kaftans.

There are thousands of scarf designs but only three main manufacturing techniques and they are printing, weaving and dying. For bespoke scarf manufacturing these are the primary options.

Printed scarves are usually produced using either screen printing or digital printing. Printing can be done on a wide range of fabrics and is the most popular method of producing a bespoke scarf. We can advise on the suitability of artwork and suggest the best way forward for your custom made bespoke scarves.

Woven designs cover primarily checked tartan style or striped patterns, though this would also cover twill, hounds tooth, diamond weave, herringbone, satin and many other weaving styles. Our weavers are immensely skilled and can provide bespoke woven fabrics in many different weaving styles.

Dyed designs would cover products of a single colour, i.e. single colour “piece dyed” products or multi coloured dip dyed designs. Our large wholesale bespoke pashminas in plain colours are particularly popular and can be ordered in quantities of 100 pieces per colour. As a matter of course we use AZO free dyes.
